fq400 project
hi
i have recently joined this forum since i have bought an evo 8 mr fq320 not mentioning this is a good forum with good people.well now i want to turn my evo in to a fq400 meaning tuning up the engine.so all iwould like to now is what parts would i need from a fq400 to put into my evo 8 and replacing.i need a list so then i can order the parts and start working on it. if pictures are needed i will post them up but tell me how.

If you really want to build a true fq400 it will be costly... if you are after fq400 numbers i would imagine there are much cheaper ways to obtain them... at least for the newer generation it seems that the X fq400 seems to have done a lot of expensive power upgrades... but then I guess it wouldn't be an fq... good luck... and keep us posted on teh conversion with updates and pics

Walbro fuel pump, 880-1000cc injectors, Turbo Back Exhaust, boost controller, Cams, Air Intake, better BOV, and a tune. Talk with a local tuner to see what they would recommend, but the above will get you started.
