Need some opinions on some powder coating I had done...
You know what guys, i'm just gonna have em re done.
I bought new rotors, new pads, new parking brake shoes and hardware, new AMSOIL fluid..... the last thing i'm gonna do is put chipped/blemished calipers on my car, just to take them off later and have them re done again.
Do it once, and do it right. A lesson learned the hard way again.
I posted this because I thought I was being too picky with the results, glad it's not only me.

LOL, so I am assuming you are not happy about the work either.
It was done by a member on here and I WILL NOT reveal who he is. I have linked him to this, and I am hoping he will do the right thing and refund me my money since I have to pay the same amount to get them done locally.
Kinda aggravating not having my car for so long though. Oh well.

Just took em apart. Come to find out the ridge that the dust boot resides in was painted too (pic 3 on first page), making it difficult to seat the dust boots.
I'll post pics when I get them back.

Pistons were removed as well as the dust boots. This is why the dust boots are not pictured on the calipers. They were torn during the process.
The reason I posted this is because while I know I have issues, to others it may seem very minute of a thing.
I believe I payed good money to get these done and at the very least, the faces of the caliper ( which is visible when mounted ) should be blemish free.

Wow, thats a bad job. Strip, and powder should be about 3 hours total if its a shop that does it all the time. Those marks are signs of carelessness, and being in a rush. Price is on par.
Shame. Gives powdercoating a bad name.
