Very unprofessional outcome based on the pictures and your descriptions. Get a refund, you deserve it.

You can literally eat off the floors in my car. I am an ignorant perfectionist and want what I payed for.

I even offered him an extra $50 if they came back nice.

They look good...they're calipers anyway so they'll get beat up as time goes along unless you don't drive it like it's meant to be driven.

No, my car NEVER sees track time, nor do I abuse it.

This thread is not about how the car is supposed to be driven, nor about identifying what parts they are.

I payed the same amount of money as I would have payed for my wheels to be powder coated, and my wheels came back looking like they came from the factory that way.

The most important thing to realize here is that this is NOT FROM SHIPPING. He obviously had to see the imperfections and said hell with it, i'll just pack em and ship em.

He has yet to reply to me or this thread. I will give him the benefit of the doubt as most people have lives aside from EVOM, and will wait for his reply.

I powder coat on the side and my stuff comes out better than that. $200 for calipers is pretty expensive if they aren't being shipped also.

Here are some pics of my work(I am not a vendor so I dont want any ****):

^^Up close with the metallic additive.

Didn't mean to jam up your thread, hope this shows you what powder coat should look like. To me it looks like he didn't prep the parts good enough.

I have had MANY things powder coated over the last 15 years, this is why I am so upset.

The simply looked like crap when finished and were still sent to me.

My local powder coater laughed at the work and believes the calipers were not taken apart and baked with the seal between the two halves.

In return, destroying that seal.

LMAO at the Evo HAVING to be a track car. I have enough problems with her daily driving to work. lol

WOW, I am fuggin pissed.

So far I am out:

$200 for the original job

$75 for shipping

$75 for all new dust boots that were NOT torn prior to me shipping them. I had 2mm left on my pads so they were protruding and streched out and I looked at them prior to shipping...no damage.

$200 more to get them done locally, and there may be more damage upon further inspection due to them being baked together ( will know this tomorrow as I will be there to take pics when they are taken apart)

The 57 mile drive I have to take to deliver these tomorrow.

Now i'm really pissed.

Okay,

This is done by a member on these boards. While he does not promote a shop, I found out where he works through his email address. I know it's him due to the fact that his car is on the web page for the said shop.

I have sent numerous emails, and PM's, to no avail.

As pissed as I am, I still feel it to be rude to call some one at work.

WTF should I do? Call him at work, or wait for him to get back to me?
