is it just me (or the picture angle),

or is the brembo decal not centered on the caliper?

either way this is very unprofessional

I think the best recourse is to publish his name - so no one else finds them self in your situation.

Because now - how would you feel if a thread like this had been started.. and the orgional did not give up the name.. and someone else got screwed over..?

I am talking with him through email as we speak. He notes the poor job on the powder coating, but will not refund my money.

Kinda weird situation right now.

Not really.

I have called several powder coaters and the going rate for Brembos is $200.

Mine are going to cmwerks.com

While this maybe a priority to me, it sure is not to him as he has not returned my last email wanting a resolution.

Ideally I want a full refund since all 4 have to be done in the same color, this is apparently a big scheme on my behalf to scam him for $200. Even though they have to be redone.

I have ALWAYS made all my transactions right. From ebay, s2ki, honda tech, etc. I can't seem to understand the train of thought here.

And I quote from the email:

Now, i saw the pics on the thread you posted and bashed the work and acknowledge the chips....the powdercoating should NOT be chipping off at all so it's obvious a quality issue with the powdercoater, which makes me think they did not bake them long enough. (You already know that i didn't powder coat them myself; i simply removed the pistons and seals and dropped them off)

Now you're saying the entire work is crap, which tells me is an obvious sign that you're just trying to scam the cash back

WTF?

^ I actually focusing on the shipping which doesn't seem to be a big deal for you. $200 for labor that he used a 3rd party? You're not getting anything back but frustrations.

I shipped em two day( I think), and just brought them my calipers to pack and ship for me as I was very busy with work and other things to pack em myself.

Post that suckers name! He has had plenty of chances to do right and obviously he has no intentions of giving you justice. Now, let the community in on the big secret.

Guys, i'm really trying to be civil about this.

Everyone here agrees that they do not look good, and i should get a refund.

I was unaware he used a third party till he emailed me and told me. Even if he did use a third party, IT IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY AS A SELLER TO MAKE SURE I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I PAYED FOR.

Hell, it was his powder coater, not mine, there for his responsibility.

To me, this is plain and simple, he does not feel the same way apparently.

Time is the essence right now as I have been borrowing the truck from my shop for the last two and a half weeks. I was also accused of being a stalker because I sent him 7 pm's after I kept finding more things out, and called him at work. I got his work number from a link in his profile.

I'm not stalking you buddy, I just want my reimbursement for the poor powder coating. Plain and simple.

^^Eff that, he or the coater should have taken one look and re-coated them. They look like ***.

My thoughts EXACTLY.

If he packed them, he saw the blemishes.

Even if the coaters packed them, it is still his responsibility to make sure they are perfect.
