I believe that Cobb quit making the cat-back parts for the Evo 8 & 9 almost two years ago. Don't know why. I have their full TBE, and love everything about it. The fit and sound are exactly right for me. I tried to get another one just for spare parts more than a year ago, but all I could get was the down pipe.

Yeah I tried looking for parts for a while, but all that is left is some vendors/dealers selling downpipes. Not sure why they stopped, it seemed like it was one hell of a popular exhaust from most of the Evo owners I've spoke to. If I found a new one I would buy it in a heartbeat.

No fitment issues with me. Cobb dp, invidia test pipe, hks cat back. Just make sure you buy parts that are individually compatible with factory exhaust. The cobb dp is definitely a nice, quality piece.

Any dealers still have the cobb downpipe for the 9? I see that it's hard to find but PM and let me know where I can order one.

Cobb is no longer selling parts for the evo 9. The reason they were so cheap for a little bit is because they discontinued their development for the 9 and sold all their parts ay half price. I picked up both the dp and tp for under $200.00 (dp was $110.00, tp was $55.00). It was a great deal at the time, but I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone still selling Cobb parts for the 9. Especially since this thread and the referenced parts are pretty old now.

Dang, that was a good deal. Anything comparable to cobb at the price? I know this is an old thread. Looks like a mix of people using different setups.

Cool story... but last year when I called Cobb they still had some. It is worth picking up a phone to ask.

I stand corrected. just figured they would have sold them all over the past two years. My bad.

If Cobb still has any of these, it's probably the best deal you'll be able to find on a dp and tp.
