Just got my order placed on a White RS with no options but brake vents. Should hear later today on some sort of delivery date.

Thanks! Mitsu dealer here in Kalamazoo. $250, they are going to cash the check I gave them for the allocation spot. A word to the wise...do not pay over list for an RS, there are good dealers out there (Ziegler in Kalamazoo, talk to Jordan). I went for the total stripper, no nothing (like they should be ), only use is track and a little drag racing, well maybe kicking a little STI a@@ to!

 

here is my mitsubishi evo RS... i removed my spare tire.. hows that for impracticality for minimum weight gain? hahahaha

You should be beatin for putting the spare in an RS in the first place...

 

Sounds like the car comes out of thier May delivery allocation so they thought they would have firmer date in a few weeks. One thing of interest, they did not have the Urban Package listed on the order form as an option at this point. Pricing is still TBA also.

 

I live in NJ and was looking to purchase and evolution calling dealer to dealer all specified the RS was to be out at the end of april i was quoted 25iish msrp which isnt so bad when I asked about any new sport options the guy told me the car has no options and no new sport options.

I would never get the EVO RS ... its like a civic DX with no power anything *throws up*

 

Its gutted out for Race / rally reasons but when on the phone i asked about the new evo he stated that the RS is the 04 model which i find hard to believe.

 

My friend the works for Mitsu just put an order in for an RS...its' the first one coming over. The date is set for june/july right now as the delivery date. It's the first one in the states so everyone will be getting their after he is.

On a side note, we had a pre-production RS this weekend and did some "testing" with it. I have some videos of us drifting it. I should have it encoded this week. The RS is realyl fast because of the weight. Even with all my mods it was hanging with me.

New word the RS offers a new Helical Front Limited Slip Differntial and also offers and Urban Jungle package which gives you some of your comforts back such as a/c and pwr door and windows along with the ability to have your door handles the same color as your car Rally Red and WeightLess White are the only colors i have heard of.
