The EVO looks so much better without the wing...

 

I was actually just going to say the exact OPPOSITE of that, but to each his own

 

well i don't like the evo without the wing....takes away too much tradition of the vehicle, but i guess for the "typical americans" this is their sedan now...

 

It looks naked without the wing. I'm glad I did not wait for my EVO.

 

I'm torn. On one hand, it's an Evo. On the other hand, it looks gelded without the wing.

Nice photos either way though.

 

I think without the wing, all of the attention immediately goes to the Altezza-style tail lights, which still look out of place to me. That's probably since I drive an IS 300 and am jaded by the industry whoring the clear lights to every car with 4 wheels. The front-quarter and side shots are the best angles for the EVO. The rear 3/4 will probably grow on me - and most everyone - as soon as we get accustomed to not seeing the wing.

Perhaps a lip spoiler is in order, since the back end of this car is going to be what people see the most.

An Evolution is NOT an Evolution without the wing. It still is sweet, but they should have at least kept that since it's suppose to be light anyways, right? CF = lighter than fiberglass?
hmmm... i guess I will have to go for the regular one...just "for the looks"

 

people who buy this car might as well just take all the plastic inside the car except for the floormats it might save you another 50lbs, anyways the car is meant for performance

 

You may need to correct your RS description. I thought it only saved 90lbs off the stock EVO and price difference is closer to $2400.

The RS does need a lip wing at least.
