car feels flat
car feels flat
I have a 06 SE with dp cb mbc + tune. I do not have a wide band yet. I had it tuned about three-four months ago.
Car felt responsive and quick. Past few weeks I have had to use it for my comute about 120miles a day sometimes 10-15 miles of traffic. Car feels sluggish and flat recently.
I do have the oem cat still in place could it possibly be soot build up in there restricing the flow? the boost and egt are right where they should be. Exhaust tip is looking very sooty. My education on these cars is novice at best. I have contacted my tuner but have not heard back from him yet. Any validity to my guess? or possible other reasons. Thanks.

Perhaps it's the heat. My car is similar to yours. There's a noticeable seat of the pants difference between a day like today (~90F) and two days ago (~60F). If the car was tuned by someone competent and the ARFs are a little on the rich side, it's not necessarily a bad thing. How does it feel on a cool evening?
