Unhappy Need Help. No Power. Rough Acceleration

The car sat for about 6 months when timing belt broke, but no damage to internals. I just replaced timing belt, serpentine belt, tensioner pulley bearing. Drove for about a week off one full fresh tank of gas with no problems. Ran the tank to empty, refilled with 93 at local Citgo and now have rough acceleration with no power anywhere in at any RPM. In every gear I feel alot of resistance at about 2300 RPM, but feels very rough all the way to about 3200, but makes no power at all. Eveything sounds healthy, smooth idle, clean oil, making 1.5 Bar of boost, no errors on OBDII scanner. Any suggestions????

A big boost leak. Check for anything that is loose.

if it ran fine up until u filled up with gas my first step would be to assume that the gas was bad...drain the tank and fill up at a different station...have u looked at the plugs? a boost leak could also be the cause especially if you had the pipes off recently

Can a tank of gas really dramatically affect the power like that? Not saying it isn't the case I'm just asking because I've never heard of it causing such a problem.

Possibly.

Are you running a boost gauge? what does it say if so?

Could be the spark plugs. Check the fuel pump and see if the sock came off, and if so see if it sucked anything up from when u ran it low on gas. James

Factory boost gage jumps to 1.5 Bar. I pulled the Walbro fuel pump and look clean and still had sock, clean inside the tank. The only hose i took off was the discharge hose between compr and I/C to access oil pump shaft. I tightened it when i put it back on, but I will double check. Plugs looked good when i changed timing belt a week ago, but I will double check. I will also look around for loose vac lines. The only other thing i noticed was alot of sludge in intake tube. I really need an oil catch can.

sounds like a boost leak to me. is it really jerky if you try and give it any gas? check the lower intercooler pipe, it may look like its on good but it might not be

you sure you didnt bend any valves? a timing belt breaks on these motors im pretty sure you are bending valves, perform a leak down test for a sure answer

I don't really feel any jerkiness. Boost gage holds around 1.5BAR without dropping. i don't think valves are bent. Car ran perfect for a week with no problems and I have broken belts before on previous interference engines without problems. This one broken at idle engine speed, so camshafts and valves relaxed at closed before pistons collided. I will put compression gage on it and double check. Belt tension is good, I fabricated my own 'special tools' the manual recommends so install in dead on.
