Wingless
To those making the argument that the wing doesn't attract more attention from cops. Ever think people remove the wing to keep from attracting attention from others? I'm a professional and don't want to look ridiculous showing up to my clients offices with a four door sedan with a park bench on the back of it.
I think the car looks great with the wing on, but choose not to have it so I don't look immature to clients or other co-workers.
I also think wingless looks clean.
I sometimes run with a lancer wing on the car too, every time I change, I like each of the looks, the lancer wing (without the center post) reminds me of the older m3 wings.

Some of the original '03's came with the lancer wing as did mine. Not sure if it was a dealer install or not. I prefered it over the big wing because it did not obstruct my view and I was worried the CF would not hold up.
The one on my car actually came off an 03 evo
You're most likely to lose gas mileage due to other reason such as wanting to floor the gas pedal often. I don't know about you guys, but I can't seem to stay within speed limits when driving my Evo. My thoughts on the wing, is if the car came with a wing installed, just leave it as is and put the best alarm system you can afford on it.

............ u mean lancers right...?
