i know how you feel. when i had my eclipse i went to my friends shop to change the suspension. it was a PITA! alot of the bolts were frozen and "PB" blasting it dident do anything until we torched the bolts. took like 6 hours just to install koni's.

+1 take it to a professional. They did a great job on my suspension and are ASE certified in suspension.

invest in

1. PB Blaster
2. Milwaukee Electric Impact gun ( or a large air tank and impact)

Well worth the investment if you plan on doing mods to your car.

Either that or find a friend with great tools!

so i took another crack at my coils this morning... bought some new tools (breaker bars) and got me some pb-blaster to help... 1.5 hours later... nothing... bottom bolt is just rust-welded on to the strut... so i said fu*k it... i gave ttp engineering a call and i was able to bring my car in right then and there... about 1.5hours later i left with my suspension done and rear lsd/transmission/tranfer case fulid change all for just $360... i'll take some pics tomorrow once i get the car aligned and corner weighed... but over-all really happy with the new stance and price...

breaker bar, torch, and WD40.

the first one was the hardest for me, the rest was gravy. i used a blow torch to heat up (and expand) the surrounding metal, then it snapped loose. overall took me about 5 hours to swap the coilovers between 2 vehicles.

Bahahahahaha!!! Sorry... I had too... I get crap like this from my buddies too. I weigh 165 and my buddy who weighs 230 can normally get suspension stuff done in half the time I can, but I do Capoeira, so being lean and small is beneficial for me .

Regardless buddy. We've all be there, but at least the work is done and your happy, so thats all that matters

I hope you mean you were taking the nuts off not the bolts, the bolts shouldn't turn, at least the top ones
