You'll want to go with a twin dics setup.
Check out Competition Clutch, and Carbonetics.
I myself have the Carbonetics twin carbon for over 2 years, with over 15k on it with no problems.
You really won't be able to get all the things your wanting as far as pricing and reliability.
Just depending on your budget, but your not going to be able to get one for under $1k.

i understand the reliabiltiy of a twin disc, but have a heard from a few evo people that a twin disc being DD'd is not a good idea and burns the disc up fast

Then why have a 500whp DD If 500 is your goal what do you expect...heavy numbers=heavier clutch.

As far as a DD, it would be better with a twin disc.
You'll have smoother engagement and the petal isn't that much stiffer than stock.
I had a friend go from a ACT single to the twin and he loved it as a DD.
If you can find somebody that has a twin disc and see if you can take it for a short drive.
I guarantee you like it. JMO

I loved the switch took a week to get used too but its a much better pedal feel and clean engagement.

I love my exedy twin disc. Much better than a single disc and when it comes for a replacement, the rebuild kits are about the same as a single disc setup. Score.

I recommend the Competition Twin. Very strong clutch. I have about 12k miles on mine and DD my car. I live in the city and do some interstate driving. It can be a bit finicky sometimes but if your making 500whp then this clutch will hold it I promise.
I personally do not like the Exedy Twin HD. Feels soft after a few thousand miles and loses it bite. I put 3k miles on mine, broke it in properly, went to track ONE time and it went bad. So I'll never use another Exedy Twin.
When I ordered my Competition Twin their evo guy, Dan, told me that unless I'm making ungodly numbers of 700+whp then I'll never have to worry about overworking this clutch. So far so good and I've been to the track several time and done plenty of launches.
