are evo's really that great in snow?
In the AWD world the problem is never really the go... It is a "stop" the problem...
stock tires are a big no in snow. The all seasons can be kind of ok. But there is a reason why the call the snow tires in that name.
It is a cheap insurance. For yourself and for others... In my country if you crash in snow and you don't have snow tires , you got a problem

Im running the WS60. I think the WS70 are the newer compound/model. They are a blessing. best investment for a car that lives north of the Mason-Dixon line.
I get the feeling someday you're going to be very impressed at how reckless some other drivers can be like suddenly pulling out in front of you because of that extra space, cutting in front to make a turn, the list is really quite long.
Seriously reconsider your thought process..

This winter was my 1st winter driving an my EVO or any AWD car in the snow and I was skeptical as well for good reason, I was on the stock tires and it showed. I was very cautious but next winter I'll definitely have snow tires on there. As stated those are key and are for a reason.
