i use it and it's held up so far. i just have it ziptied to something else up along the firewall.

i ran without for about three years. it always leaked just enough to make it wet on the sensor. finally all the vibrations just kind of broke the sensor and the readings were never right.

now with the braided line, the readings are perfect again (only because i bought a new sending unit) but i suspect the dampening of the braided line will prevent the sensor from breaking because of vibrations.

Is that line connected to your head? That's where you're getting your pressure readings? I'm not being smart, just want to make sure I'm looking at the right thing.

Mine is connected to the oil filter housing and I think the vibrations from my engine may have killed the sensor so I'm looking for alternatives.

no,thats the turbo feed on the head...the sending unit is on the firewall where the abs unit was...the braided hose is connected to the oil filter housing

I bought one so I could relocate my Zeitronix Oil Pressure sensor, but ended up T-ing the sensor into my Turbo feed line. I have mine for sell if anyone is interested.

I'm interested in getting one of these also, just to mount the sender away from all the road crap.

Anyone using it on a defi sender? Does the end fit in either free ports on the ofh?

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Lost close to a quart of oil.

As for mounting options, I really like the firewall idea! I simply zip tied it to the oil cooler line and it seems fine there. Its plenty out of the way and can still be accessed. I've been running it for 10k miles like this.

I just purchased this line. I also purchased a clamp to be able to bolt it to the firewall all nice and clean. Just google "padded line clamp" and you'll see what I mean. The smallest clamp I could find was -4 an, I THINK that's as small as they go, should be fine.

I'll post a picture after I get everything mounted up.
