I know how you feel. BBB won't do ****. And dude you are talking has a rep unfortuneately. Things like this don't help.
I would only deal with BR, AWD, Ivey, STM, CBRD, ER or MAP (or Zen locally) at this point (If I couldn't do the work myself). Shipping a car to any of these places for a few hundred is better then getting screwed.
I feel for you. Hope it gets resolved. Keep us posted.

Ya I'm not trying to bash the unnamed tuner. I just want things resolved. That's all. I don't even want money in exchange for the terrible customer service, I just want my car.
Actually these threads do a lot of good. They make the community aware of injustice and help keep those who think they are above the law in check. That is if they are not deleted.
There are plenty of things that go unseen and unheard because of the factions that be. Do what you feel is needed and do not ever let the swingers tell you differently. It is your experience and nobody elses. Too many people try to chime in when they themselves have 0 experience with the said tuner/shop. Noone is perfect no matter how many times they tell you they are. Goodluck!
just have a few comments
I really wouldnt blame to tuner for the blown head gasket, **** happens and when your tuning a car your putting a lot of exsessive stress on parts. when you replaced the head studs it could have very easilly not been done correctlly. One big thing ive seen with head studs is people dont get fluid (usally oil) out of the holes before insalling them so what happen is the stud doesnt seat all the way. Which in turn causes the nut torque to be incorrect.,I mean its not like the car had a lean out condition and melted a piston, now that would have been a tuning issue. **** Ive seen fresh built engines blow head gaskets shortlly after on the dyno before, it happens. Buuuut back to the point.
all in all though you are getting dicked around by the shop and that is horrible. Being a shop owner myself, if theres a car that i know isnt going to get done right away ill inform the customer that way they can either take it some where else or what not. Im sorry to hear man, just keep at it, Im sure once he gets a letter from the lawyer itll get taken care of. Just hope that every thing is there and wont be hard to put back together
