Stocks vs. Mods
I was just talking to my GF about this yesterday. I feel like I'm out of place if I have a stock evo. This is only because they take SO well to mods that I feel like I must mod to get the most out of the car. Also I don't wanna be the slow Evo out there cuz it seems like everyone else is modding theirs too.
Therefore I modded and now have 310whp BUT I want more

Man Mine is Modded now. I brought it in Sep. Before Oct was done I was getting parts installed in the car. I really dont give a damm about the warranty anymore. I used to say the same thing, the car was too new to start modifying it. But when you start you cant stop. The pwr is addictive. The only thing the dealer can really tell is the apex afc i have soldered to the harness. They would have to be looking real good to see it. Hopefully next mont I will be going all out. Cams, Fuel pump, injectors, head bolts and a custom dyno flash. Trust me when you start you will not be able to stop.

I did a search before I created this thread, but if there's another thread already let me know and I'll kill this one. Otherwise, go nuts!
I just got mine, so i'm still happy the way it is at 1900 miles.

Somthing I have bin thinking about my self latley. I drive a mini-van everyday. (Daily driver great for towing, Moving **** around and good in the snow). I have a slightly modded EVO and Some times I don't drive it for two weeks at a time and boy what a diffrence over my mini-van when I do take it out. So much so I lost control of the EVO taking fast corner. Rear came out on me under boost. This has not ever happend to me before in any of the fast cars I have had in the past. I was shooked and a little scared. Had to kind off watch what I'm doing until I re-learn the EVO. So at this point because my daily driver is junk compared to my EVO, I might just be done modifing it. When I was driving my EVO everyday it was a diffrent story. I wanted more perfromance, but now I feel that the car is above my driving skills so whats the point.
Funny just puts things into perspective when you don't drive a fast car everyday.
If your lucky enough to have a EVO enjoy it. Hover ever you see fit. Modding it, Racing it, Showing it. It's just a great car and has alot of performance that most people can not utilize. I know I can't and I have bin road racing and autocrossing for years.
And you don't have to keep up in the horse power wars because this car does allot of other things that most big power car just can't.

My car is fairly new , Can' wait till the ecu programing , cams and FMIC by BR with lower ICP. My goal is to reach near 320whp.
Also some suspension work as well. The car is great from factory and gets even better went you modify it ..
