If i noticed a whine in my drive train, after a fluid change at the dealer...and it was the wrong fluid....I would raise hell.

You have some ground to stand on.

believe me bro i have raised hell. But my problem is i bought the fluid from mitsu but my tranny was apart and the guy who does my works did the fluids for me while it was apart. So all they are gonna say if it is a broken part is that it is his fault or it was already there. Truth is they gave me ATF for the TC and manual lube for the tranny. I am changing out the fluids with the correct fluids from another mitsu (i checked them myself haha) tomorrow and im praying the whine subsides but if not what can i do? I mean they aren't gonna replace anything just because they gave me the wrong fluid will they?

Yup I was going to say check the fluid. It was that or a possible wheel bearing will whine towards end of its life, but I sont think you enough miles to worry about those yet.

No its definitely in the driveline and if something is up with the drivetrain after the fluids are changed it is their fault. They gave me the wrong fluids. Period. But their isn't anything i can do to make them admit that so im up $hit creek without a paddle lol

sounds like we have the same problem. i get that noise when i'm sitting idle in neutral. the sound does not go away when i push down or engage the clutch.
Hopefully switching out to diaqueen works for you. if so i'll try it myself.

had my tranny guy change the fluids and the transfer case fluid was burnt black after only 3xx miles. All other fluids were brand new and changed them all to correct spec and amount. Still the whine remains so im 99% sure its the transfer case due to the fluid being f^%$ed. I went to mitsubishi and told them the deal. They refunded me on the fluid that was incorrect and they also told me when my tranny guy gets the t case off and find the actual broken parts to bring them in and he would try to help me out.

There will not be broken parts, perhaps a worn ring and pinion...... good luck man.
