this is after 1 or 2 pulls at the drag strip. when i drive normal i get the crap you guys see/very little oil.
That's a perfect example of a failed ventilation system. Its dumping your oil right into the can. Its because you tapped into somewhere on the valve cover that doesn't have proper baffling to stop the oil from entering into the lines then into your can.

The only fix really is to baffle the part that's pushing the oil, which is whatever hole you drilled that wasn't initially there from the beginning.

The actual catch can itself is doing its job relieving pressure, but the way your valve cover is tapped needs addressed more with proper baffling. This is why i only enlarged the factory hole that already existed, because if you inspect the valve cover thoroughly you will note there's tons of baffle where the existing factory hole is.

I installed the buschur unit and just ran a line with a valve on the bottom to empty it and every since i am getting a lot of smoke coming out the breather filter that sits atop the catch can. Any ideas?

So what was the reason why so much oil was getting into the catch can? Was it because the valve cover crankcase ports/port was installed in a non/poorly baffled spot on the valve cover?
