I've used Rotella T6 from Wal-Mart in all my turbo cars along with Wix filters (or NAPA's brand which is a Wix). I've researched until my head was gonna explode. This is the best stuff I've found for anything not a 100% dedicated race car.

Mines at 99k almost breaking into the 100. So far replaced 2 clutches my transmission and tcase due to launching. Also upgraded turbo.stock one ate something. Only repair parts I've needed the rest of the work was for performance mods no issues!!!

05 VIII SSL 110k mi

Just turned 110k miles on my 2005 Apex Silver VIII, SSL. I've owned it since 5k miles, daily driver. Mostly bullet proof except noisy drive shaft replaced under warranty around 35k; ACD pump went around 70k; new clutch around 85K. Car has very basic bolt-ons, stock turbo, mild tune from The Shop (Norwalk CT). Will do timing and drive belts at 120K. I get more compliments on it now than ever before. It's no where near perfect, but a very well taken care of DD. Still tons of fun to drive.

Wow I must say I feel better. Everyone around me has 8/9s with like 60k on them, thought I was the only one over 100k lol. Here is my 03 Evo, just hit 120k before I put it away for the winter. Original motor, t case and rear end, never had the head off. Had to replace the transmission because the previous owner had the dowels fly out of his flywheel and crack the bellhousing, which led to a leak, which led to cooked synchonizers. I replaced the trans and put in an ACT XTSS clutch, a few other mods since then. Runs 12s at the track and I hit 26 psi on a 20G/10.5 combo every time I drive it. Runs like a champ, most reliable vehicle Ive ever owned. I actually bought it 2 years ago with 110k on it, so in 2 years Ive put 10k on it lol. Love my Evo. Hoping for one day a low 11/high 10 street car.

i'm up to 125k. finally doing a rebuild on the bottom end due to low compression from rings in cyl #2 (it was that way when i bought it. just never got worse). mid 11s, quite a few auto-x, HPDE, and GTA beatings. all on the stock engine, t-case, and 6spd trans. not bad for a 9yr-old car. that is why i don't buy domestic LOL

What is considered high mileage? Honestly it's sad to see that high mileage on here is 100k. I have 140k miles( well 148k...) and my car runs good still. The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt. And my throw out bearing popped off, but still a great car.

according to KBB, an average of 13k per year. anything over is high. but some people think the Evo will be a collector car so keep them to like 20k LOL.

Thats because you never mentioned rebuilding your engine.

There's a lot more to getting 300k+ out of a car than just a healthy engine.

125k, so far, on OEM 6spd. no rebuilds, a few HPDE, one GTA, and a handful of AX.
