fuel injectors need to be cleaned?

I bought some used 1200cc precision injectors from a friend. My friend said they were working fine before he sold them to me. The shop that I'm getting tuned at said I should send them in for cleaning since e85 was in there (I am also getting tuned to e85). That's not only the reason, the other reason is they have been sitting in my room for a year now lol, my friend said before he sold me the objectors they were bought brand new and were on the car for only 2 months. You guys really think its worth to spend 60 for inspection or just use them? The shop said its very rare for objectors to be faulty anyways, but I wanted more opinions. Sorry if there's typos...I'm on my phone lol

They're probably fine, but the safe bet would be to have them inspected/cleaned/flowed. If it's a friend you know and trust then I would probably just put them in.

Yeah, he told me I'm wasting my money if I send them in. He said they are fine

I'm just curious because maybe there's a bunch of gunk that built since they haven't been used for a year now

http://www.witchhunter.com/ Super fast and decent price. If they have sat for a year they could be frozen which takes a cleaning to fix.
