Ignorance

**Rant alert**

I dont understand why everyone has something stupid to say about the evo and other Mitsu products, i dont have mine yet and i will get one when the times right, im researching my *** off and people have the nerve to act like they know the car by the way it looks. They dont look at the potential the car has performance wise. To them its a fart can pos. It really annoys me and whats worse is when someone suggests I buy an infiniti over an evo, come on now. It dosent help that I am young either, because people think im buying the car because it "looks good", when really im putting my time in to learn as much about the car as I can, and I'm talking another 6 months in research before I purchase. This ignorance annoys me. Did any of you guys experience this as well ??

Who cares? It's just a chunk of metal with some plastic stuff sitting on 4 rubber things which makes music come out of a pipe and puts a smile on my face getting from A to B.

One thing I learned with this car is that you shouldn't look into the JDM market if you want more power. I hang around with nothing but Honda guys saying JDM this and JDM that. With this car, no. I look up JDM parts for this car and for cheaper, I can get quality parts elsewhere.

Thanks for the info! maybe this is true for making power, but i think we can agree that everyone loves a nice set of JDM tails and a JDM bumper just for that extra touch

Some don't. It's personal preference and for how expensive its getting its hard to justify now.

quit worrying about what other people have to say about what you like...if they dont like it tell them to f*** off. you're buying the car for yourself, not others. keep that in mind.

it just gets to me sometimes, its not like i have anger management. Most of the people who say stuff are my dads friends who own body shops, and you would expect someone like that to know as much as they say they do...

dont listen to what other people say about the car.... if i had a nickel everytime i recall hearing my friends talk **** about my evo, especially the ones with the overpriced new luxury cars and my other few friends who are die hard honda guys, I'd be a rich man. the car outperforms most other cars in today's market and as i learned of yesterday after test driving a new lexus not to many cars come close to the evo performance wise and all the above.

take it from me as well as a few of the other senior evo owners left on this forum. more then likely we wont be getting rid of the our cars anytime soon. what does that tell you ?

its a bunch of old dudes hating on a car...so what?... if you let that bother you, i dont know what you'll do whenever you really do get an evo.

chill out, wait til you actually get one, then the rant will be more justified.
