Do you remember the first time you drove your evo?
First time I drove an Evo i wasnt impressed, seeing as i had a midly built type r hatch with a turbonetics 60-1 on 12 psi. Loved how the evo felt during daily driving, so nice to not feel like i was riding in a cereal box.
i was very unimpressed when i took a stock 05 evo for a test drive.. it was just slow.. until i hit the almost 360 degree onramp that sh*t just GRIPPED.. that first corner is a feeling ill never forget
Ok maybe someone can help me with this. I just bought my second evo 3 month ago. My first one i waited over a year to get it put back together I was hit hard 10 hours after getting it back together. I have had this second EVO since october. Who ever owned it before me just did not know how to care for a car properly to say the least. I have been working all the bugs out.
I have a turbo back, evo 8 turbo, kelford 272 cams springs and retainers, and a tune (300whp 296wtq). I am just not very happy with power delivery. My big dilemma is so much more enjoyed my last sti's power delivery at 330whp 340wtq. For those of you running a bbk or something of the sort. It that what i need to do in order to really enjoy this car?

The first day I got the car, I took the plate off my integra and place it on my evo and went crazy. I drove about 5 miles only at night for a week without papers. Im still impress with the car.
Ill never for it. Besides the test drive, when I was driving it home with my buddy I had a random guy yell Evos suck. Me and my buddy looked at him and just started laughing. Jealous Much
December 2, 2011. Drove 3 hours one way without ever even riding in one to go check it out in person. Had everything lined up if I was interested, took it for a test drive and loved it. I was kind of impressed for it being all stock and I knew what the motors could handle so I bought it.
i couldnt stop grinning the first time i drove my evo.
. it was my second car and my first was a stock 3rd gen eclipse.. so needless to say i had no experience with REAL power
now a year later and thousands invested in the car 400 whp still isnt enough for me
once you get a taste of that turbo kick you want more and more

Very nice question OP.
I do remember my first time test driving. I had just gotten rid of a skyline. I took the thing out and within 30 secs I nearly lost it. I couldn't handle the power at the time. It was only 300bhp!@! Goes to show what an evo will do against a regular GTS-T skyline though. Got a ticket in it that drive too because owner didn't have paperwork in it. Bought it the next day and haven't looked back.

Uncle bought a 2004 in 2005, I was 16 at the time. Let me drive it when it had 18k miles... Felt like I was driving a big go-kart and couldn't stop smiling! So I bought one when I turned 19. Sold it... regretted it... bought another! haha
