2006 evo wont shift into any gear

Ok so i just had a new 6 puck act clutch installed as well as a new flywheel. At first it worked great. I took her very easy for the 400 miles to break it in. When i got the chance to play i launched it from about 6000 rpm. After that i cant seem to get it into any gear. When the car is off it will go into all gears just fine but whenever its running it wont go into any gear. I think that the clutch may not be disengageing but im not possative. Any ideas on how to pinpoint/fix this issue... i want my evo back. Thanks

Clutch is definitely not disengaging. Watch to see how far the clutch fork travels when you push in the clutch. If not moving far enough, could be slave cylinder. After that, you might be pulling the trans again.

Yeah my car just did that today I'm pretty sure either the clip fell out or throwing bearing is stuck

I watched the fork and it seems there is about an inch of room left for the fork to travel. I'm going to try a new slave and I hope that fixes it.... Is it possible to pull the trans in a garage or do you need a lift?

Yikes! Hope its either the clip or throwout bearing, but the way it sounds, it might be the transmission. Does it wine really loud when you try and put it in gear? I've seen this a couple times. Your input and output shaft assembly is probably toast. Most likely a majority of your sliders, syncros and forks are bad! Just remove the tranny and crack it open. Takes like 10 mins. Then inspect it an take pictures. Good luck.

If you haven't done it before I wouldn't recommend it especially without a transmission jack

It doesn't make any sounds when I try to put it in gear it just won't go in. To me it feels like the clutch just isn't disengaging..... I'm pretty sure that's what it is I just need to figure out why..... Thanks for all the posts and help
