I think all Evo IX models regardless of being GSR/RS/MR/SE will hold more value having MIVEC than what is seen with the VIII... its the most EVOLVED point in that platform, with more bugs worked out, bigger turbo, most potential, etc... but I'm assuming the MR and especially SE models will be more sought after which would= higher retail value

^ Depending on how it was driven or how clean, $20-$25k. I know someone who picked up a MR with 15k for about $26k which was in Feb of 07.

In the end, any car will hold resale value if its well taken care of.

With the new ones being out I imagine people either want the older cheaper ones or want the new one and getting rid of their 03-06s

I see dealers asking for $30K+ on IX MRs with around 20-25k miles on them. So I believe the IX will hold its value for quite some time.

All I know is.. Even though I want to have sex with the nine, I REFUSE to pay 30k for something with 10k+ miles on it, If I can get a brand new X shipped to NY from Cali for a bit more.

Hey guys, new to the forums. I currently drive an 05 WRX but I've always wanted an EVO. Considering an 04 8 that's about 2 hours away from me right now from a Mitsu dealer in New York.

http://tinyurl.com/5bsgwk

That's the car that I'm looking at. I was retarded and didn't make much of an attempt to get the price of the WRX down and I don't plan on being stupid again. I figure the car has 4+ years of driving on it but still has fairly low mileage on it. I called the dealership too and they said it had a clean record. Any thoughts? I'd like a tranny that won't break with 300whp/300+wtq on it

Trade in value for an 08 EVO X GSR with SSS Package with 22k miles?

Some dealer tried telling me $21k yesterday, I told him he was insane.

I'm thinking somewhere around 25k.
