Evo's Trade in/Resale Value [MERGED]
Supply and demand I suppose.. You can ask whatever you want, if their in short supply in your area, it'll sell. But Unfortunately I think a reasonable price would be in the 25k range.. anything more and most would opt to buy new..
What is dealer invoice for the EVo now?
A dealer is offering me a brand new Evo for $1000 below invoice with the sunroof and spoiler....what is the invoice...i thought i read somewhere it is around 26,700? also, any incentives or holdbacks i should be aware of? i'm right now a student would that help? i know subaru's give discounts for students.
Thanks, Ghost
Thanks, Ghost
Getting them to even go invoice can be a pain in the ***. They tried telling me that they are so in demand that they don't need to work with you. Then again I got it at 28k and talked em into giving me 5k as trade-in for my old 97 Grand-Prix GTP with over 100k on it so don't let em talk to much ****.

I'm flying out there right now..
Seriously it makes sense to buy it out there and pay $1,000 to ship it across the country if you can't get a dealer to work with you here....
This is great information. Thanks guys. You can put the diff between the invoice and the MSRP right into the bolt ons!

My only concern for those cali EVO's is the milege, and CAli emissions. If I bought it out there, I'd drive it home cross country!!!
Here is what Yahoo autos says:
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Sedan
Invoice Retail Engine Fuel Economy
$26,891 $28,987 2.0L I4 18/26 mpg
Now, they did not list the invoice prices for the wing, sunroof, or other options. that surprised me. they usually list those prices for other cars.
I could not find an entry for the 2004 year Evo nor the RS.
