Isn't it funny how there are directions and yet people go and do stupid things and put it in the incorrect places just because they hear good things about what it does.

i used it in my IX the other day in my oil right before an oil change, gas, and a third of the can through the vacuum line. It got rid of some of the sluggishness i was having..

I must say that I am very impressed with this stuff. Picked up a couple of cans at pep boys today. I also picked up some maf cleaner and supplies to freshen up my old perrin filter.
I got one aerosol can for the vacuum line and one liquid for the gas and the oil. I put 3/4 of the liquid in the gas tank and the other quarter in the oil. Then i yanked the brake booster vac line started her up and got the got the aerosol in. Quite a bit of smoke to say the least.

After the smoke cleared I hopped in for a test drive. All I can say is wow...it literally feels like a new car, just fresh. Throttle response, power rejuvenated, just overall plain better. I did several pulls from a stop through fourth, and it was awesome. My evo has 93000 miles on it, it had less than 30000 when i bought it four years ago. I cant remember when it felt like this.Best 20 bucks ive spent in while on my evo.

Finally got around to seafoaming the car tonight with 54,857 on the clock. Had a bit of a smoke show but not nearly as much as I anticipated for a car that's been babied all of it's life. Looking forward to seeing the results over the rest of the week before my 60k mile service. After the service I am going to compare notes with brand new parts to see what kind of performance I get out of a car that just has an aftermarket intake.

GL!
No I did it right, but the engineering and ultimate placement of the MAF sensor worked against me.

On the Mercedes, the MAF sensor is in between the intercooler and throttle body. Furthermore, the sensor is physically lower than the only point where i can inject the sea foam. So what I think happened is the sea foam that didn't pass through the intake, pooled and collected in the intercooler.

every time I would go WOT, the MAF sensor would get fowled by the pool of sea foam in the IC. Every 150-200 miles I have to pull over, remove the MAF sensor and clean it. Fortunetly, it takes about 2 minutes to do this on the Mercedes, bad part is I was doing this on my 600 mile trip on christmas eve...

Now that I have blown out all the crap out of my (now really clean intake!!) the car is running much better. Not sure about the millage yet, but the car is running better after the second can of MAF sensor cleaner I sprayed into the IC to clean all that crap out.
