Got the car street tuned today....what's next?
Sounded interesting to me as well, but that's just something he popped off I'm sure he would just slowly up the boost as he tuned it And see what we could get away with. He said at 22 he was trying to advance the timing but it was knocking too much and that with e-85 it's easier to get a tad more aggressive with timing and boost. 35 psi I doubt it. Is 28-30 attainable?

Mine spikes at around 25 and tapers off to 21-22. That's with a greddy ebc hks bov and that map external waste dump (don't know if that helps it not spike as high?) Also its gonna spike more if ur at like 3000-3500 and just romp down on the gas instead of rolling into it. If I just roll into it at 3500 and by like 4300 to 4500 be WOT it comes up to right around 22 and stays there until higher in the revs it will fall off cause it's just a little guy lol. the evo 9 coldside is a bit bigger than the '05 evo 8, I think the hotside is the same on the 05 evo 8's as the 9's and cold side is even a bit small on the '03 and '04 evo 8 if I'm not mistaken?

My tuner also mentioned for the price the ets fmic is a good efficient core anyone else have one of these bolted on the front of their car. Should I go with the 3" or 3 1/2" thick? It looks like I can get one online for 500 for the 3 inch and 600 or so for the 3 1/2?
