If i get an MBC, what should I set it to on a setup with a walboro 255 tbe, and an intake. Isnt the evo on 18psi stock? should i bring it to like 23 safely?

This is just my .02, but it's not always as easy as some people make it out to be. Read this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...11s-story.html and you'll see why I say that.

It is possible to do with an excellent running car with very minimal mods, a good tune, and excellent driving. But if you're new to drag racing your Evo that's probably not going to be reality and you're only going to frustrate yourself by expecting 12's with little to no mods and no driving experience. If you really want to make sure you hit 12's the first time out, then get some good bolt ons (TBE, boost controller, intake/cone filter, LICP), a good tune, and make sure the car is running properly (no boost/exhaust leaks, clutch/trans in good condition) and even with subpar driving skills you should still be able to hit 12's.

Be careful with just going the MBC and a tune route because tuning can be expensive and if you don't hit your goal after the first tune you'll find yourself wanting to add more parts to increase power which is going to require another tune. It's best to decide on your goals and mod path first, collect the parts, then have them installed and get tuned at the same time so that you're not paying to have the car tuned multiple times. Good luck and have fun!!

Depends on the car but you might need to go a little more than that, say 25-27psi. Stock is 18 psi. Do you have an 8 or 9 turbo?
