Shell Rotella t6 5w-40

used various amsoils, used mobil, used royal purple and to me beat them all!
WHY?

my car runs smoother, less oil consumption then all above, $20-$30 tops a Gallon!, available anywhere, high zinc and phos levels, and proven(do a search)
I run it on my bike, and it's been good so far. 13,000 RPM all day!

I am debating on switching over to rotella. I used it in my Gsxr600 a while ago and my clutch went out but that may have just been a coincidence since its a wet clutch setup. Should I find the 10w-30 or go with the higher viscosity on stock internals?

I run Eneos oil and love it! I switched from AMS oil and noticed a big different in my car.

**Just for the record... I have nothing against AMS oil and still think its a good oil. I just prefer Eneos and think its better.

"To each their own" though. Good luck with choosing.

I had the opposite experience. Switched from Eneos to AMSOil and haven't looked back. To be fair Eneos was great for my stock 2.0.

Its Amsoil, not AMS. AMS builds cars.

IMO, Eneos lacks zinc and phos. I use to like Eneos until I saw the analysis.

Nice. I like properties on that oil! Bob Fout is the same guy that did VOA on the M1 0w-50.

I'm closing this thread. There is too much bickering / opinions and not enough factual data. There are a ton of oil threads on here. Search if you need to read more bickering.
