strange find during spark plug install
strange find during spark plug install
What's up forum? So, I was installing my new NGK stocker plugs and when I popped the old ones out they looked terrible. In fact, they looked terribly like the wrong god d*mn plugs! There were some NGK IFR6T-11's in the engine. I didn't even notice at first until my wife noticed they were longer than the other ones.
I looked them up and they are like for Chryslers and sh*t. So everybody out there check them plugs before you roll away in your new evo ix's you just never know.
Also, the idle is now hovering just below 1000 RPMs is that kosher? The car initially was idling at 1.5K and often rev'd to 2K all by itself
.

My buddy bought his IX a few months ago. Now it's up at ER getting a engine rebuild because the previous owner put some cheap autolite plugs in. The electrode broke and chewed up a cylinder.
Yeah. Check everything!
Yeah. Check everything!
