Used my a/c quite a bit this past weekend on a road trip with my girlfriend who of course wanted the a/c on. Car was a bit sluggish at low rpm's and the a/c didn't stay consistently cold either. The coldness issue might just be because it hasn't been recharged in quite some time, and because I usually drive with the windows down instead of using the a/c I haven't cared much for troubleshooting. I must agree with everyone else though, the a/c on these cars (subaru's as well) isn't anything to write home about haha

 

I have to say mine is very cold, even on the hottest day 95+ on MAX A/C after a short while I'll have to turn it down. The a/c on mine is great.

 

I live in south Florida.. The ad in the summer is ok, not amazing.

 

i got the 2-60 ac front windows down doing 60 down the highway! ac deleted due to build, would love the ac but not the extra resitance on the whole setup

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was surprised at how bad my car bogs down with the AC on. It does an OK job at best to keep you cool.

My last car (03 cobra) would literally freeze you, and never bogged down or felt slower. With that said, I'm still happier with my Evo

 

turbo car always run hot and the ac systems are there but not like in a luxury vehicle to the same extent.

 

az here with 110+. Does ok job keeping me "cooler" than the outside, but my car bogs horribly and stahls all the time with kelford 272's. PITA. Thats y most of the time, i try and drive with windows open...but somedays it is just to freakin hot hear....hate this heat

 

Same complaints... My AC sucks. Car bogs and it doesn't even stay cool. It probably needs a recharge. It will blow cool for a bit and then cut out on hot days. I usually just roll with the windows down anyhow. It doesn't really even get that hot here. I haven't decided whether I'm going to try to recharge it or just yank it out entirely.

 

Any air blowig is nice for us here in hotass AZ lol. Mine is ok, could use a recharge tho.

 

AC can actually be pretty cold, but god, the lag it causes to the car is unbearable...

 

Took mine out...run on full blast open windows . Wind does me good!

 

Good ac is always a good thing to have especially with long trips I have been taking recently.
