Thanks Yenny! Glad you got your stuff sorted
I upped boost to about 22.5/23 psi (hard to read the gauge whilst mashing the throttle, next up: MAP sensor I can log). Up to 358 whp on VD on the same stretch of road I always use. Even if that number isn't entirely accurate, it's nice to know I've gone from 318 to 358 with just a little seat time. I ended up softening the timing curve a bit, I was seeing 1-2 counts of knock and I think that's a lot to do with how I got into the run this time, I planted it at about 3500 RPM so it spikes hard and timing is still trying to get from 7 to 3 almost instantaneously. Still, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Getting there!
I can say after my first highway cruise with this thing, I really like it. It's not quite as annoying as the stock turbo could be (surge, always on the "cusp" of boost even if you didn't want any). Seems like its got a lot more midrange as well - I was merging next to cars on a 70 mph freeway and I'm doing about 50 coming off the ramp. Plant it in 4th and the car just surged ahead of a pickup who was doing about 65. It was fun

Cams came in today, thanks Corey! Going GSC S1 intake, S2 exhaust. Both are 11mm lift which is what I used on EVO IX springs in my DSM so I think I'm going to be ok with a 7600 RPM rev limit. Should be a pretty good street combo I think. I'm replacing the cam seals and VC gasket while I have everything apart also.
Also ordered an ETS LICP to replace my Injen lower pipe. Seems the Injen is not much better than stock and the fitment to my ETS FMIC leaves a little to be desired so this should be a nice win in both respects. Yay mods!

I honestly didnt consider staggering but, found a used post with a new s1 intake and very lightly used S2 exhaust cam, checked the specs and went for it. I'll post up results soon, likely won't have them installed until next weekend.
