P0170 shortly after tune
From what it looks like its a fuel trim issue.
I didnt have any codes prior to my recent upgrades then have since got misfires and now this code. The tuner/mechanic went straight to the o2 sensor as my issue.
I would like to confirm on here.
He installed
Pte1000 injectors
New valve cover
Spoolinup cop
1step colder injectors
71hta with map exhaust manifold
Did a boost leak test and cleared that up and finally a tune.
I just got the car back on saturday and the issue showed up today. i have been having issues since the change where i would come to deaccelerate at a light or traffic and randomly car would shutdown. this happened to me twice since the last tune.
After the tune, he had to set it safe because of detonation due to possibly bad injectors. on the dyno you can see dips on hp but torque had no hiccups since tq is down low. he tested by compensating tune to be rich and afr to near 10 and saw 1 detonation/knock vs 15 afr 11~.
Anyone think they have a legit diagnosis?
Any info is appreciated!

Fuel pump and FPR are the issue.
1. go back to OEM plugs
2. the tune is the issue, and you should find a new tuner. You're in Jersey, so STM or CBRD probably aren't too far from you.

Went back to the shop and found the Fuel trim showing up with -12.####.
Brand new PTE injector is faulty and we were planning to get them sent out to be cleaned and flow tested.
Faulty Injector dumping too much fuel.

Well that could cause it too. Glad to see they gave it a closer look than just saying O2 sensor. The fuel trim being maxed is why you got the system rich code. If the O2 sensor was bad, you would have gotten a code for that.
