I'd buy your IX for 18K tonight. That's actually a realistic price for one.

bought my 04 GSR a couple months ago for 13,500. clean title, 82k miles. no putting lots of money into it lol

Once again, stole those cars. Goodness..
On the total opposite end of the spectrum, look up MSRP vs Current market value on AMG mercedes models from the mid-2000s. Cars that were 150K are going for 35K now with 40-50 thousand miles on them, talk about depreciation.

I'm keeping my eyes open, I'm never getting stuck feeling "robbed" buying a car again. Keep this thread going, this is good info.

Here's a fine example of how these prices increased for the SAME cars (literally in plenty of occasions) in a manner of years or stayed stagnant while odometers increased.

Here's an advert from 07 for a one year old IX GSR.
13.5K miles. Clean, quality modifications. Listed as the seller said: $1000 under blue book. WTH?!
Asking price $25,400

in 2007, mind you.

How much would a seller ask now for an IX GSR with 13.5K miles?
26K? It was cheaper to buy these cars when they were 1-3 years old then it is to buy them 5-6 years old (Speaking of the IX's specifically in this example)? 0___0

(and worth noting, this was pre-economic crisis, this example was probably only months ~year old.)

Here's another.
22K for an IX w/ 30K miles in 09
