got my 06 with 30k miles on it [GG mostly Carbon fiber body]
For 19k, butttttt it had a jacked up Tcase that was on its way out.

The good, BC coil overs, 5 speed, exedy twin [i didnt know when i got it] walbro 255 and tuned.
Hks Exhaust system, down pipe. True carbon fiber hood, fenders, trunk and mirrors Decent boost gauge.Koyo Rad radiator. Sometype of after market Cams [Vac at idle is 14] Manual boost gauge, set 26 psi taper to 24.

The Bad jacked up Tcase and ACD needed a rebuild.
totally clean Car fax, no accidents, one owner.
it has 52k miles on it now andis not being driven ATM.
Dealer had it listed for 25k, but i negotiated and had a trade in that was paid off.
And ive already put about 4k into this car, new intercooler, pipes, gauges, the interior is now blacked out, battery, total Trans rebuild, rebuilt the brembos and painted them, timing belt, water pump, self tuned now. Rebuilt ACD pump and motor.
MoMo removable steering wheel and NRG lock system, double alarms and other security features, Awesome Stereo and speakers.
A good clean evo in this area actualy goes for a good amount still, and Tend to sell VERY quickly so i can see the price going up.
although i dont plan to ever sell my Evo, why would i its the perfect car.

If anyone sells an evo for those kbb values you should become a salesman. No one will pay that much for evos in todays market

I'm seeing these cars move even with these high prices... I paid 23.5k for my '06 SE with 44k miles a year ago from a Ford/Dodge dealership and I was happy mainly because they're hard to find in stock condition and once I found one for a good price I jumped.

I bought my 05 back I'm 09 for 19k. It had 46k on the odo. When my car hit 65k I kbb the value and it was at. 15 trade in 17 private party. Now that was in 2011. Today I just checked basically 2013 and my car has 75000 about maybe less and it is private value sale at 20,100$ this seems *** backwards to me haha. Still 16k trade in

i got my evo 8 with 73k miles at a dealership for 15.9k yeah they did some janky stuff on it like put a regular bolt on the front right strut tower instead of an alignment bolt, the front bumper is missing paint and the clutch was dead, but to fix all that i spent 1500 bucks and from a dealership the car was worth 19.6k and blue book value private party was even 16.5k plus the fanboy/retardation factor of mostly military people using their free house loan to get these cars thinking they're worth more than they are listing 100k 03 evos with an ams front mount for 20 grand

If you look them up on Edmunds.com the pricing is a lot lower than KBB as well.

I think I paid $15K for my built 2.0L/35r 03', but in the first month the Exedy Twin died, the head gasket blew, wheel bearings were bad, all brakes were shot, and in fixing everything I found the most disgusting mess of wiring along with off brand parts that were said to be top of the line.

Honestly, if you own an Evo for a long period of time the majority of us come out the same due to mods, maintenance, and broken **** all of the time. What one pays for their car is nearly irrelevant to the amount of money you're going to have in it unless you keep it fairly stock.

1 year ago paid 12K for my 03 silver Evo with 107K miles (Private Party). This was the kbb value at the time. 1 month after purchase one of the pistons detonated. 7-10 grand later built motor and all the bells and whistles.

It sits at 115K with all the mods - looks like KBB has me listed for 13-14.5K (Private Party) Looks like i will never sell.

I drop my mileage down to 85K-99K and I could get 15-17K

In 08 I paid $17,5 for my 03 with just under 30k miles on it. Front bumper needed some attending but everything else was perfect. Had exhaust, cams, and turbo timer.

In the last year ive bougt 4 evos

-ww 03 500whp boost logic kit, 70k, for $15.5
-as 03, dented hood, bolt ons with 100k for $9500
-as 03, no issues and bolt ons with cams (made 320) for $12000
-ww 06 mr, 100k, bone stock and MINT for $15000

Evo market is so random. Its really what people are willing to pay. Economy is still mot great (better) but still not good.

These cars are getting old where it is hard for someone to get a loan on a 10 year old car, let alone an 06 that is going on 7 years plus if its been driven its going to be even harder. Personally i see some people on here asking insane prices for their cars and then they price drop month after month. Sad to say it but these cars are not worth what most people are paying.

For instance, a buddy of mine just got an 04 apex silver (ssl) with 20k miles, car is bone stock, and beautiful... He paid 17k
