Wow, someone seems a bit bitter.

FYI... go to www.mitsubishiparts.net and click on:

1. Catalog
2. Factory Authorized Parts Dealer
3. Mitsubishi Publications
4. Mitsubishi 2003-1983 Service Manuals

Evo is at the top of the list.

My mechanic does all the dirty work.. i just stand over his shoulders the whole time he's working on the car and give orders on what to do and what not... and nothing is opened or taken off without my expressed permission... i guess i am just too fussy...

Seeing this thread again brought an interesting point to mind. On my last Honda I had the dealership do everything because I wanted a complete history for my waranty and extended waranty.

With my Evo having had the waranty essentially voided, I've either neen doing the work myself or taking the car to a local speed shop (for stuff I don't have the equipment to do). There is absolutely no incentive to take my car back to Mitsubishi for servicing...

Since this is my first new car, I'm super **** about all the work done to it. I like knowing that I have turned every bolt on the car. When shops work on customer cars, they rarely give it the "owner's touch". I plan to do everything on my EVO short of tranny and engine rebuilds.

After my service writer told me their serviceman could get all of the oil out of my car I told him that was the last time they would be touching my ride. I talked to the general mgr. and he told me that all I needed to do was to save all of my receipts for the parts and keep a log of work done. Miller Cadillac Mitsubishi Suzuki Redding CA.
