I got it a few days ago. My car is still stock so i was actually thinking of saving my rom first. Then taking it into them for the flash. Go back home and flash it back and pick up the $50 gift card lol.

Mine is stock too. Thinking about it only if I get new cats. I'm at 77k miles so if you are at around the same let me know if they replace your cat.

The cat replacement isn't a part of the campaign, it is just a warranty extension. The cat is not supposed to be replaced with the campaign unless the cat has failed in which case it will be covered for the extended period indicated in the campaign bulletin.
If they are doing their job correctly, you will only get a new cat if you have a P042x code. No code, no cat.

Mitsubishi is not handing out new cats, they will replace it only if the cat has failed and your car is not modified.

I still have a bone stock Evo on the stock tune with just above 60k miles (as of exactly two weeks ago), so I might as well go for this.

Regarding that P042x code that someone pointed out that supposedly is what confirms a failing cat, would that trigger the CEL? I'm just curious because I haven't seen one, but when I got my smog check a year ago, the technician (who I know personally) said that my car barely passed, which seemed a little surprising since the car has always been bone stock though I assume that they should do better than "barely" passing. Maybe my cat needs replacement?

Yes, any PXXX codes will give you a CEL the fault had been detected multiple times.
