Kids.... Sigh
Why do you need to hear from me? I am almost 30, why do you care? I am sorry i have a life and was not here to answer to your beck and call. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you since it seems like it bothered you so much.
Car was definitely crashed either fender bender or curbed like i said which is why the bumper is all chipped, and cracked up and there is a stock FMIC back on the car. Probably wasent tuned after that.
He wasent return it to stock i can bet on that. OEM wheels are on it cuz i kept my nice wheels. \
Carbon hood, trunk and lights all faded. Yes that stuff can and will fade. but i know plenty of Evos kept out doors and people still at least take the time to clean and wax them to keep them looking nice.
I actually took the sticker off the skirt before i sold it to him.
What really concerns me is why there is a burn in the pass side of the hood vent, not sure how that would get there.
I dont know why your all crawling up my back side. Dont you people have pride in owning an evo? Dont you want to see nice examples of the car driving around then ones that are miss treated. I guess i am the only one around here that have Pride in Evos and dont like seeing any of them neglected. I am sorry all you dont feel the same way about how a nice car that you like being kept clean and hoping that other keep good examples of the car. I think ragged exteriors like this just bring down all evos. Like ricer beat up hondas give all hondas a bad name. I would rather not see neglected Evos driving around giving all Evos a bad rap. The wing already gives alot of people the "ricer" ideal of the car and one neglected makes it worse IMO.
Sure he might not of been able to prevent an accident, or was the cause, who knows. But taking a car to a car show and then showing it in that condition... really... Spending $20,000 and then letting the car turn into that just seems crazy to me. Not that cars are good investments, just with some effort in keeping it nice would help it hold some value. I spend that kind of money on something, i am going to try and keep it nice.

........but it's HIS car now.
fjm9898 = mz.tia?
unless you owned the car and a girl drove it everywhere, it's been through more than just 1 owner since you sold it. that, or you owned it for like 6 months and then sold it

I am not mz.tia and i dont know who that is. I have been on this forum since 07. I bought the yellow evo off of some russian guy who rebuilt the engine and when he was done i took the car.
But no i didnt own this car very long, a year? I had to let this car go sadly because my stable was just to large. Having 2 evos, 3 avengers and a truck was just to much. I let an evo go, this yellow one and the turbo avenger as well as the truck. Also had a TSI in there too but that was a parts car for the avengers. From 7 cars down to 3, much more manageable.

No crime in that. Maybe he's hit a rough spot and sold all the aftermarket stuff to pay for maintenance that he thought he could afford.

And dont take this the wrong way but the same way you profess this is the internet and you can do/say what you want......is the same way we are free to criticize the crap out of you for stressing about a car you let go that someone quite frankly hasn't done all that much bad too.
Jussayin...........Internet is a 2 way street

Evo's are going the way of the Civic. Sad truth of the matter. I think the reason why people are razzing you is because we have seen some truly horrible modified Evo's on this board and even if you think its an abomination it honestly is not that terrible. The car looks like someone who's driven it and doesn't clean it or maintain it all that much.

I am not losing sleep. I am not taking it hard. i just wanted to make a thread to show what happened to the car in a few months time. Its sucks i know but its not like i tracked him down at the car show and chewed him out. just sucks to see another evo going south.

I disagree. Ugly evo's make mine look that much better. The cheaper the get, the more that will end up crashed and wrecked or fixed on the cheap.......
I think Evo's have hit their bottom line price. Its just above a used Civic. This will happen more and more. And i don't mind because I keep my car clean as I can.
