Please help newbie with aftermarket bov

Im new to evos and turbocharged cars.

What i got is injen setup, all injen piping, intake and stock evo 9 bov.

I was thinking about going with tial.

My questions is where to look to buy the right one? By looking at the pics of different bov's i dont see how its supposed to mount in the place of stock one.

Anybody had or has injen pipes and tial bov?

Should i even get tial or just leave it stock?

Someone please let me know.... Also i know injen is not the best and some of you might start telling me to go with all these other brands but please help me with the bov question only.
Thank you.

you have to get a recirculating Tial. Only way to run a regular one is to switch to speed density and let it vent to atmosphere. Also i would just leave the stock on.

Stick with the stock 9 dv and spend your money elsewhere.

Yes stick with stock bov for now. Do some search on bov with these cars and you'll see a bunch of people asking the same question. Just advice do research on anything before you do anything new to the car. Before people got **** talked too

The stock one is good, no need to upgrade it at this time.

An answer to your question specifically, would be to get a weld on Tial Flange. You can go to numerous vendors on here to get a Tial Recirc BOV and flange.

In the meantime, what mods do you have, future plans and have you been tuned?

Stock is always the safest bet. Unless you are thinking of really high numbers.

ive got a turbosmart bov on my car and they are really designed as a recirc but they are a 50/50 bov. the recirc. port opens up earlier than the vta port so the car doesnt have the problems associated with a full vta. sounds great too.

like what everybody else said, the stock ix metal one is good enough, and if you crush the bov properly, the ix bov can handle even more psi

more people on here are for stock BOV looks like so I guess im gonna go with stock for now. I love how the Tial Sounds on the evo's and I also wanted to get the HKS ssqv bov but im thinking its gonna be too loud and gonna get old very fast.
Mods so far:
Greddy TIC cat back exhaust.
Buschur DP
Megan Exhaust Manifold
Injen Intake
Injen LICP and UICP.
ETS 3inch intercooler.
Aluminum Radiator, unknown brand.
That's it on mods for now. I was gonna do an 02 but didn't really see a reason for new one at this time.

I will do tune once I can find a good tuner in my area. Im located in Cleveland TN, about 2 hours from Nashville and same distance to ATL. About an hour away from Knoxville. If anybody knows any good tuners let me know, someone you would trust.

I think once I get it tuned I should make decent HP, not looking to do anything crazy, just want a little more than just stock.
What you guys think?

I'd get a modded Walbro fuel pump to add to your list of mods as well as MBC or 3 port. Also, get a 3" DP, O2 housing, WB sensor and 4 bar map sensor. Search some more and you'll get a good shopping list going. Here's a good thead: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-100-time.html

I'm sure someone can chime in on tuners in your area. Regardless, you should get a tactrix cable and EvoScan to log. Myself and a few other vendors on here remote tune. That's where I tune your car via remote access and email.

Either way, get a tune. Have fun!
