Actuator issues

Just got done replacing my oem actuator with a forged performance one with the 14-18 psi spring in it. i started my car but the idle sounded a bit weird and the car would break up alot trying to rev so i figured i needed to adjust it, so after adjusting it the opposite way that it was originally the car shows the same symptoms. any suggestions?

all vacuum lines are ok, i only took off the one from the actuator and my check engine light is on since i put on my straight pipe i made. could it be possible to have the two lines from the actuator and turbo mixed up? and i dont know how to set it bc right now its in the position from when i first got it, how do i adjust it beside turning the turnbuckle or is there a certain amount of turns to do?
