Have you been tuned yet? I wouldn't go WOT until you're tuned and I'd stay at factory boost levels. I also thought you purchased the boost controller? Did I miss something?

You shouldn't reach 25psi without mbc.make sure your wg actuator is at 0 preload.

You changed your waste gate actuator to an 18psi one from the stock 10?

You obviously need a tune or you will overboost immediately, as you found out.

You can have it tuned with the stock boost system but you will have more control with the 3-port or simpler and quick MBC but either way, you still need to be tuned.

In theory you probably could remove the pills from the boost control lines and be running essentially wastegate pressure, so 18psi now, and get away with that but it isn't the right way to do it.

For right now it would probably be safer than driving how it is.....

Best answer is to get a tune.

You need a Tune, a boost leak test, an MBC, tune, tune, & oh and finally a TUNE.

-Do a boost leak test 1st. Fix these BEFORE you bring the car to any tuner, if there are any.
-If you havent already done so, install a MBC & make sure its installed correctly. Set it to closed (Lowest setting) and test it you should be hitting no more than 18-19psi (FP W/G) and leave it alone until you get to the tuner so you dont keep overboosting & hitting AFR's/boost your engine is not tuned for.

-Once there are no boost leaks, & the MBC is working correectly you are now ready to get the car tuned assuming there are no other existing issues.
