im deeply appalled by this monstrosity that they call an evo. not only does it look like one of the cheapest pontiacs ever made, but theyre advertising it like its badass looking or something! they need the same engineers who developed the evo 6 and if they ARE the same engineers they need to retire cuz they just went past their prime with this car.

 

I think the engineering of the VIII will be fairly untouched....it's the design team you want to **** on, namely the US design team...or is this version going global? I wonder what the Japan market thinks?

 

The G35 sedan fro mNissan doesn't look as sexy as the R34 but if you've seen pics of what they are making it look like in Japan, the Japanses know how to take something ugly and put a positive spin on it to make it look nice.

 

The g35 wasnt meant to look like a gtr r34. The g35 sedan is nothing but a four door model of the g35 coupe which is the infiniti version of the new nissan 350z.

I am with Hooby on this one. The most important thing to me is the performance, then looks.

When I first saw those pics, I said damn, I like the 7 better. After a few days It really started growing on me. And everyone thinks it looks like the Aztec because of the nose with the on it. So cut it off!!

And about the Evo 6, 5, 4...I am sorry but they look too much like the Mirage. I have been staring at those things for far too long.

While I am at it, the WRX aint the prettiest car in the world either, but look how they are selling. Where the **** you gonna get that kind of performance for that price....a Mustang...thats laughable.

Without that grill, the car looks like it is snickering or something
Maybe they should just use that current small Mitsu front badge.

The Evo8 looks better than the Evo7 i think but looks are all subjective.

Also, has anyone been able to adjust the resolution/clean up the first picture enough to see what the wheels look like? I'm sure they're different than the VII's.

 

Damn Mitsu for ruining the traditional Evolution look. Redesigning the front fascia is like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa or shootin paint ***** at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It just aint right. After years of waiting and anticipation for the seven to hit our shores all we get is this deformed resemblance of a pontiac? Don't get me wrong though, I still plan to buy one but the first thing I'm gonna do when I buy one is swap the front bumper and hood for the VII.
