Is this stop and go town traffic or interstate driving... I have noticed that I will burn a significant amount while on the freeway vs driving around town...

I do an equal amount of both. Hopefully all will be revealed tomorrow. I'm sure Spec-Ops will find the issue. I just hope its not a crazy problem.

So after my visit I have a clean bill of health. There was no oil in the IC or pipes. They changed oil. Oil that came out was fine.

The hypothesis is that my car is running uber cold (since I put a bigger fan on it and wired it to be on all the time while I battled my highway AC on overheating problem). Since its gotten cold the temp needle barely gets a quarter of the way to half. I need to log the temps and see if its running to cold. I'll put the sensor back in since its cold and see if that helps.

Hmmm..... Don't know how much I believe this. But good luck none the less the fact that there was no oil in the pipes just mean that isn't where it's going... Same with nothing in oil, just means no blown head gasket. Your issue is still exactly the same as before going in, and that's an extreme consumption issue that still needs to be found why/where. Just my opinion of course

I tend to agree with Macman, that being that running cooler doesnt effect oil consumption. From previous posts it sounds like you have been around the block a few times--still thinking your eating oil. With that said--are you using dbl valve springs or some aftermarket, my guess is yes? With that said, Have a look at those VS seals. Could be their not seated, or have become unseated, worn, rubbed or some such. After that, then I am at a loss.

Again I'll ask if you have any BLOCK ventilation ? (not from the valve cover) If valve seats are seated, I'd still put money on crankcase pressure if you're running a 2.4

Period.

Get the balance shaft inspection hole fitting they sell at STM and send it to a vented catch can to aid in breathing and then report back.

If you are loosing that much oil, and you don't see it on the ground you have a serious problem with your engine.

If it was my car I would pull the head off and send it to a legit shop and have it rebuilt.

A quick way to see if it is an issue with the head is to pull the plugs after driving, and look in the bore with a flash light. If you see oil pooling up on the pistons then there is an issue with the head.

There is no way you are loosing 1-2 quarts of oil every 300 miles because of temp. That is the most insane thing I have ever heard.

Just need to keep the car up to temp by flooring it everywhere. It worked for the SR-71 Blackbird and all its oil leaks.

Yes I'm running beehives. Motor barely has 7k. I'll check them out but seems a little early, no?

I think Spec-Ops is a pretty legit shop. To be fair the oil loss has been a guesstimate. I'm keeping a close eye on it now. Like after a half a tank on measuring the oil level.
If the head comes off then sadly after this I'm getting rid of the car. I've been through way too much to go through this again. I'm will not rebuild a 3rd motor after barely driving this one and babying the **** out of it.
