Also will be getting my t-case back from Shep after coming out of pocket :// I'll be getting pics up shortly.
@NSDQ- I'm working on it! I'm waiting on a modded oil pan from buschur and then I'm paying Shep to fix the t-case. I'm pretty much done with the short block now and I'm waiting on stem seals to come in to finish the head and get it to long block status. As you can see from my update I changed up turbos and have slightly different plans. But those are really good numbers man!

I would also get a Walbro 400 instead of a modded 255. I like over preparing. Leaves head room. Instead of modifying something to run outside of what it was supposed to do.

I know my fuel system will definitely be the weak link with the current setup but I really just need to get it on the road. I'll look into the walbro 450 because STM has a good deal on a package deal or maybe a double pumper. Is there anything wrong with Full Blown's double pumper because I usually see them go a little cheaper than BR's. Also I'll probably just keep the 750's until I plan on going e85 (around tax return time or summer) and then pick up some 1450 ish ones but I appreciate the input and thanks for chiming in man!

Nevermind I noticed the price dropped considerably when I selected sending in my core. I didn't notice that when I typed my last post. I might go with a double pumper or I might just get like a bosche inline 044 or just the walbro 450.

So I've been super lazy with the holidays, and such to do the update, but I finally have some time to post up some progress pics. Progress has been really slow due to big financial set-backs, but at least I'm slowly pushing along, and that's better than nothing.
I finally got around to installing the rods, and pistons. It took along time due to waiting on the wiseco piston ring compressor from Summit Racing because it was a special order item. Ring end gap was .021" top, and .024" bottom. After, I went onto stretching the rod bolts to spec. I definitely recommend ARP's Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge. It's a bit pricey, but well worth the money IMO. Anyways, torque varied anywhere from 54-58 lb-ft if I recall correctly on the rod bolts.
I ended up having to pay for the t-case because Allstate Motor Company refused (working on a lawsuit as we speak). I just opted for a Shep Stage 1. I don't plan on launching or dragging at all. Maybe a couple track days, and 1-2 times at the local strip.
Also, I ended up getting a good deal on Buschur's modded oil pan. I needed a new one because mine had so much shavings not to mention leaves, etc. because I accidentally forgot it outside. I ended up scoring the pan, and much needed valve seals for $100 cash. I didn't/don't want to get any oil related parts used.
Currently, I'm waiting on the oil pickup tube/strainer to come in from ExtremePsi (Scheduled 01/12 :[ ) and then I can install the front case (BSE), rear main seal, and button the short block all up. As far as the head goes, I am going to end up reusing the OEM valves. I should get a 3 angle valve job at the very least though. The P.O. had Kelford 272/272's along with their titanium spring & retainer kit. So I'm squared away in that regard. Can anyone verify if it's alright to run OEM exhaust valve seals on the intake side? Buschur tossed in two packs of 10 valve stem seals with the pan. I'm waiting for a buddy to be free so I can use his valve spring compressor to assemble the head.
So with all that said I should have a long block assembled soon
)) and ready to drop it in the bay. I'll be working on adding some pics within the next few hours or tomorrow at the latest.

If/when you decide to upgrade injectors get some 1500's or bigger. Granted your gonna max out your fuel pump at around 500 hp at which point a double pumper or 400 is going to be required. But looks good hopefully she comes together with no issues
