P0300 code after installation of new trans.
After getting my new trans installed every time I cruise on the highway I throw the p0300 code. Any idea how to fix this or what the problem might be?
Ok thats most likely ur problem as running a vta blow off on a maf causes it to run rich in between shift or when u let off the gas. You need to switch to speed density to run vta blow valve properly!! Most likely thats what is causing your misfires.

I didn't read the whole thread but if someone hasn't mentioned it yet you can just turn off the p0300 code with ecuflash. I don't remember the periphery bit at the moment but its marked as such "P0300". Just change it to 0 instead of 1 and the code will never come back again.
Like I've told you previously Deme, it's the VTA. The car isn't ment to run like that without running speed density. Switch it back and everything tuned correctly with the new LICP and intake you just put on.
Not worth speed density at this present time especially with basic bolt-on's and stock turbo.
Do it right the first time and fix the imperfections from previous owner.

My buddy had an 04 VIII that threw the P0300 constantly with ZERO mods on the car(bone stock). I'm sorry but you can't say with 100% certainty its the bov. I have an 06 IX with a TialQ and I vta on maf and have never once got the P0300 code ever. Granted I tuned my fuel and timing maps accordingly but he could, like I previously stated, just turn the code off in the ecu.
