Light bars for Evo 8

Like the title said I'm looking to put a light bar and two Hella lights on my 05 MR. The only bar I know of is the Rally Innavations one, is there any other bars out there? Has anybody used the RI bar before? Also does anybody have any info on the install for the lights, I'm not an expert with electrical so any info/advice would be great. Thanks.

I like that rallybar.com one, I've been hemming and hawing about making one like theirs prior to seeing that site.... but really it is so cheap its hard to justify making one at that price.
I would love to see one with lights mounted... I've never seen one of these anywhere except on their website though.

when the funds are available, I'll be putting a radiused LED bar along the top of the windshield.

Hehe, I've thought about that too. I bet it would be stellar for night rally. It would look nice with a roof rack too I'm sure.

I want something I can get away with on the high way and local streets without too much law enforcement attention though... I don't think I could pull one of those off though. I think cops would have issue with it whether it were DOT'd or not. Some 4-5" DOT legal fogs on a bar I can probably get away with I think.

I was looking at a piaa light pod for the oem hood since I want a cf hood. That way in the summer I can run a clean Evo, n in the winter swap the hoods, n put rally wheels on n raise the suspension n be good for the back roads n get a lil eau de rally. Lil bit of work but I spend way more time than that each weekend "tweaking" my setup.

I too would like to see how the Rallybar lightbar looks with lamps mounted. Currently I don't drive my Evo after dark due to the roads being pitted with deep potholes and stray livestock in the roadway.

Cops don't seem to care in Vegas, my truck has always had 4 driving lights on the bumper uncovered. So, meh...run it...

I think it has a lot to do with the cop n if you drive with them on when there is oncoming traffic too. I'm sitting up on campus right now n of the 20 cars in the lot I could post at least 4 pictures of vehicles with offroad lights anywhere from 4" to 7". It's kinda a requirement up here with all the dark we get, but you have to treat them as high beams and shut them off for oncoming traffic. With that said he is also living on the east coast where I remember a story recently of a guy getting a ticket for his stock, dot approved tail lights on his Pontiac g8. He took it to court n fought it and the judge he got upheld the ticket with her reasoning being that she trusted the cop.

Yeah its a gamble regardless.... and I live in a retirement/vacation town so the cops are very unpredictable (compared to when I've been in just anytown, usa type places).

I was looking at the close ups of the rallybar.com evo bars.... the welds look like crap. Just putting that out there.
