P0107 P0113 ODB Codes

Got these codes today when I tried to start the Evo today. Happened right after a rain storm. Then the car started and then after almost a second it cut off and would not start. The starter and the fuel pump are working. I opened up the hood and checked all the sensor connections and the fuel injector connections. Then I disconnected and then reconnected the MAF Sensor. Not sure what happened was able to start up the car. This happened one other time but I did not get the code and that time I didn't re-seat the MAF Sensor. I just waited for about 5 minutes. I had given the car a good wash earlier that day too but I had been driving for over an hour when this happened.

Also, the only change there had been since the SES and corresponding DTC's was the rotating of the Intake Cone Filter and MAF Sensor attached. I just noticed that the first mech put it in sensor side down. So I switched it around and a little while later the codes. I just rotated it back. It was causing any harm that way so why not right?

Where is the stock IAT sensor? Is the stock IAT part of the MAF sensor? I'm going to replace it. The cart will not start until it 'thinks' the IAT is lower which means wait 1 min. after a failed start. The car will fail to start after it has been running and gets hot. I can also disconnect and then reconnect the MAF sensor and it starts instantly.

IAT/MAF for OEM.... got it. I'm going to use some MAF cleaner first. If that doesn't work I'm going to freaking buy a new one; 350 bucks sheesh.

Got CRC MAF Cleaner and some electrical cleaner for the harness plug. I sprayed that down really good and got the male connectors on the MAF itself. I really don't want to buy a new one.

Cleaning did nothing. Drove around to warm her up, went to pick up some cigars, went home and turned it off. Tried to start right away. Car starts then shuts off. Try to start again and she just cranks. Disconnect MAF and reconnect and it starts right up. So then I disconnected the MAF and left it that way and started and it started up. Plugged it back up and got online.

Do you still have EGR? I had the same codes one time, and found out that a hose behind the throttle body popped off. Cleared the code, and hasn't happened since.

That hose is the culprit.

As far as deleting it...you have to remove all the EGR stuff and then delete it via ecu flash or something. I still have mine.
