I believe its the 25 psi spring that comes in the turbo smart wga...
I just think it's weird that it didn't leak at first and then it started to leak...
I guess I can try to make the wga tighter but it's gonna be hard to get it on the flapper arm, is there such a thing as having it too tight?
Also when does this turbo reach full spool?

yeah it is a pain in the *** for sure. But once it is on there you will know, full boost usually kicks in about 4800 rpms depending on the way the motor is built. Although I cant say that I have saw one spool less on one setup to the other

Well I tried to get the wga on even tighter I had it as to where I couldn't get it on by hand any more so I decided to actuate it with my air compressor and it expanded and snapped right onto the flapper arm and seated itself. ..
It was one of those once in a life time things that I couldn't do again if I wanted to.
I took it for a rip down the street and low and behold after 43XX rpms I saw over 17 lbs of boost and better....
I guess it's all figured out now.. I'm going to take it for a ride again in a little while and see how it does...

See I told you it was too loose. What I would is take off your mbc and just go wg pressure and make sure it doesn't open before 25 psi. If it does then guess what has to get tighter. It is all trial and error it seems with cars anymore.

Sounds good to me.. I'll run it off the wga tomorrow and see where I'm at.. I don't wanna romp on it too much until it gets tuned but I'll see what I get...

Just remember one thing, that turbo is pretty large for what it is. I wouldn't be beating on it to much even to find out what the wg pressure is on the car being depending on the turbo you had before that turbo will cause lean conditions being the larger amount of air it does flow

Ok got it.. I'll just take it easy on it and not get too far into boost, and I'll keep my eye on the a/f gauge...
I hope to get it tuned this Friday. But if not then the following Friday for sure.

yeah that is a good idea. Trust me the turbo will make the car pull like a freight train so depending on what kinda boost levels your at with it untuned you may not full boost right away. I would let your tuner know for sure that you are having issues with the wga finding the right tightness for it and hopefully he will be able to help you out.
