Car wont start in cold

Car won't start in cold unless I give it gas and still barely starts sometimes. Replaced the battery and it'll crank for awhile then turns over while I give it gas but runs really low idle. Has a 6262 and GSC s2's. Any ideas cause it's annoying. Thanks

If it's driven, shut off left for a few minutes and you try to start again will it start easily?

Assuming it just recently started happening? And does it still idle low after the car is warmed up or does it settle in once its warm

Just started happening with the cold weather, settles when warm but after driving awhile and I stop at a light or something the idle drops so low I have to give it gas otherwise it feels like it'll stall out and it did that before the cold came. Maybe I need a re-tune

Does your cars rpm jump around when it is idling like it can't find the sweet spot? If so your IACV could be gunked up or not working properly causing some issues.

do a boost leak test to find any potential leaks. If no leaks are found then you will probably need to pull codes / data log to find the problem. Is this your first winter with the car?

Yeah first winter, hasn't been bad since it warmed up a little, idle still drops low when I stop driving though

If the car has aftermarket injectors it probably just needs some cold start tuning. If the previous owner was from a warmer climate, or garaged the car in the winter it might have just never come up as an issue.

I'm having the exact same issues in your exact area. These past couple mornings have been hell with the single digits temps in the morning. I thought it was because I am on sd but I am also running 2150s.
As far as the idle mine normally sits around 1000 but the past few days it has been around 1200/1350 while at a red light.
I gotta touch the gas pedal a little bit to get my car to crank over.
I think it's just the cold weather.

I'm tuned by e spec...

you probably need some cold start adjusting. There is no real way to tune cold start without actually having the car at that temp and logging it. So it will usually be an approximation. You could ask your tuner to touch up your cold start tables if you send him some logs.
