I'm pretty sure valve springs are an issue only at max RPM, where they start to float. Seems that would cause a problem at the top of a gear, not right after shifting.
Do you at least have a wideband to see what your AFR is while this is going on?

Yes i have a wideband. every time this has happened i make the rookie mistake of not looking at the wideband. this is my first turbo car i have owned. when i get this cable in will do some logs and try to replicate the problem and report back with what it shows.

Thanks. I did look over the car again, checked all the fuel pump connections and the other fuel sensors under pass side. everything is tight and connected well. and i could not find anything wrong in the engine bay.

A friend of mine has the same issue. Car bogs between shifts. Thought it was tune related, although no matter what we tried to lean it out between shifts, it would still do it. I'll try to swap his cam angle sensor see if that fixes anything. If you figure it out, please let us know.

Does his DV recirculate?

Lol.

Hopefully fixed the problem tonight. Was putting my dual port bov back on and found just a little red flag. Prob not a huge deal :sarcasm: The worm clamp holding my maf to the intake pipe was completely loose. I was able to pull the filter & maf off the intake pipe by hand..

Also, i found a little tear in the hose that goes from the uicp to the bov. I'm not sure if it goes all the way through but def going to replace it. Anyone know where i can get that exact hose?

HOWEVER!!!

I still am wondering why it was happening several months ago (the original video). Theres no way the intake has been loose for that long. So that's why I'm not completely sure that was it. But it def wasn't helping.

Nonetheless the tactrix cable will be here tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow afternoon or within the next couple of days i can get some logs.

Just want to update, the issue has been 100% fixed. I just got home from the drag strip and sure enough, after upgraded the springs & retainers, my bog issue is absolutely gone!

Thank you for the update. Which springs and cams were you using before and what have you changed them to? Are you using FP Red turbo at the moment like your signature says?

Before I was on the stock springs and retainers with kelford 272 cams. I upgraded to the gsc beehive springs and titanium retainers (gsc-5041 part #). And yes on the FP red still.
